2008 Mustang Baseball

Baseball Fans,

            The spring of 2008 and Mustang Baseball promises to be full of energy, excitement, and championship caliber baseball.  It is with great enthusiasm that we at Kingwood High School continue the tradition of excellence that has been set by all of the Kingwood baseball family before us.  Baseball is only a small part of the equation for a successful program.  Community, family, administration, players, trainers, and coaches must all work together to accomplish the goals that we set year in and year out.  We enter the 2008 season with new faces but with the same tradition and expectations.  On behalf of the players and coaches we want to thank you for your continued support of high school baseball and especially the Kingwood Mustangs. 

            Special thanks to the parents who volunteer to continue the improvement of Andy Wells' field to make our ball yard one of the finest facilities in high school baseball.  As you look around Andy Wells’ field you will notice new fencing around the hitting cage and down the foul lines, electrical work and lighting inside the hitting cage, and a considerable amount of cosmetic work around the ball yard.  Anchor Group USA, Cooper Lighting, Putterman, Scharck & Associates Inc., Hi-Tech Electric, Inc., Kingwood All Sports Booster Club, and Friends of Kingwood Baseball made the improvements possible.  A special thanks to the K.H.S administration, teachers, student body, and this year’s program sponsors for their continual support.  The players and coaches are excited and looking forward to making the 2008 a season full of excitement and great memories.
