KHS vs. Humble District
Game
Kingwood JV played at Humble and won 13-3 by run-ruling the Wildcats
in five innings. Garrett Doyle pitched
the entire game for the Mustangs allowing just one hit while striking out five
and walking one. All three Humble runs were unearned courtesy of numerous Mustangs
errors.
Kingwood got on the board early scoring four runs in the first

and was joined by Stanley Churchwell who reached on an error. Alan Floyd followed and knocked both runners
home when he ripped a stand up triple to right center. Floyd scored run number three when he raced
home on a passed ball. AJ Paradowski then
went to first on a hit by pitch and advanced to 3rd on 2 passed
balls. Scott Moore followed with a walk
to bring up Brian Frazier who plated Paradowski with a hard single to right. After 1 inning, Kingwood led 4-0.
Kingwood’s scoring continued in the 3rd when Scott Moore
led off with a solo bomb over the left field fence, his 3rd four
bagger of the weekend. Zack McLellan then
worked a walk and Austin Cornay and
Kingwood scored three more runs in the 4th.
In the 5th, Floyd led off with a single to left and
Brown walked. Frazier then pounded a
triple to center scoring both runners.
