Friday, May 10 Kingwood 12 North Shore 2 Junior lefthander, Michael Hopper scattered 5 hits and allowed one earned run in 6 innings of work. Hopper was lifted and moved to right field to begin the 6th when Sophomore Jonathan Beatty came in to pitch. Beatty worked to two batters before Hopper reentered at pitcher. With runners on 1st and 2nd via a hit and an error, Hopper induced a double play and struck out the last batter he faced. Junior, Justin O'Bannon came on in the 7th and retired the side in order with two strikeouts to close out the game. Offensively Kingwood collected 12 hits on the night.
