Kingwood 12 South Houston 0
Junior hurler, Justin O'Bannon rebounded from a tough 1 pitch loss at Humble last Saturday to throw a 6 inning shutout against South Houston Thursday night. After allowing a bunt single and a walk in the 1st, O'Bannon settled in and held South Houston hitless until the 6th, when he gave up a single.
Offensively, Kingwood banged out 14 hits and staked O'Bannon to an early lead, sending 11 men to the plate while scoring 6 runs in the 1st. After singles by Pendleton and Hoke and a walk to Sowyrda, Flower plated Pendleton with a sac fly. Hoke scored on an errant throw. Dustin Walls tripled to drive in Sowyrda, and then scored himself on Michael Buckalo's double. Michael Hopper closed out the first inning scoring with a 2 run home run. Kingwood moves to 8-2 in district play.
