Community spirit was shining bright on Saturday, March 16th as our Kingwood High School coaches participated in a softball tournament in Landon Hendrix's honor. The BBQ and benefit was sponsored by the Kingwood Girls Softball Association to help defray medical expenses from Landon's automobile accident.

Their skills and competitiveness were quite apparent as they whomped the Houston Fire Department team.  Fans were entertained by excellent play from Coach Denny's over the fence knock to Coach Garcia's knuckle balls.

Thank you for helping the Hendrix family through this very trying time.  Its role models such as yourselves that make lasting impressions on our youth and community.
